Total geographical area of Baghpat district is 1321 km2 and it is the 4th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 986 persons per km2. There are 3 sub districts in the district, among them Baraut is the most populous sub district with population of about 7.1 lakh and Khekada is the least populous sub district with population of about 1.8 lakh.
