Jaisalmer Municipality, with population of about 65 thousand is Jaisalmer sub district's only municipality located in Jaisalmer sub district of Jaisalmer district in the state Rajasthan in India. Total geographical area of Jaisalmer municipality is 62 km2. Population density of the city is 1050 persons per km2.
