Lonavala Municipal Council, with population of about 58 thousand is Mawal sub district's the most populous municipal council located in Mawal sub district of Pune district in the state Maharashtra in India. Total geographical area of Lonavala municipal council is 38 km2 and it is the biggest city by area in the sub district. Population density of the city is 1518 persons per km2.
