Khordha Municipality, with population of about 46 thousand is Khordha sub district's only municipality located in Khordha sub district of Khordha district in the state Odisha in India. Total geographical area of Khordha municipality is 26 km2. Population density of the city is 1788 persons per km2. There are 22 wards in the city, among them Khordha Ward No 11 is the most populous ward with population of 2902 and Khordha Ward No 13 is the least populous ward with population of 1334.

Nearest railway station is Khurda Road which is within the city. Khordha is the sub district head quarter of the city. District head quarter of the city is Khordha. Bhubaneswar is the state head quarter of the city and is 26 km far from here. Yearly average rainfall of the city is 1466.5 mm. Maximum temperature here reaches up to 43°C and minimum temperature goes down to 9°C.
