Bidhannagar Municipality, with population of about 2.2 lakh is North Twenty Four Parganas district's the 10th most populous municipality located in North Twenty Four Parganas district of the state West Bengal in India. Total geographical area of Bidhannagar municipality is 34 km2 and it is the 3rd biggest city by area in the district. Population density of the city is 6433 persons per km2. There are 25 wards in the city, among them Bidhannagar Ward No 01 is the most populous ward with population of about 19 thousand and Bidhannagar Ward No 08 is the least populous ward with population of 3654.
