Barrackpore Municipality, with population of about 1.5 lakh is North Twenty Four Parganas district's the 12th most populous municipality located in North Twenty Four Parganas district of the state West Bengal in India. Total geographical area of Barrackpore municipality is 11 km2 and it is the 9th smallest city by area in the district. Population density of the city is 14400 persons per km2.
