Jamuria Municipality, with population of about 1.5 lakh is Paschim Barddhaman district's the 2nd least populous municipality located in Paschim Barddhaman district of the state West Bengal in India. Total geographical area of Jamuria municipality is 79 km2 and it is the 2nd smallest city by area in the district. Population density of the city is 1834 persons per km2. There are 24 wards in the city, among them Jamuria Ward No 05 is the most populous ward with population of about 11 thousand and Jamuria Ward No 07 is the least populous ward with population of 3594.
